Morrissey Lab, University of Michigan

Employment opportunities in the laboratory of James H. Morrissey

Postdoctoral positions

My laboratory studies the regulation of protease function in the blood clotting system, and is working to develop new methods to study protein-membrane interactions. From time to time I have openings in the lab for postdoctoral research fellows (persons with a doctoral degree and research experience in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology or related area). Please feel free to contact me (jim@tf7.org) with a copy of your CV and statement of research interests if you would be interested in working in my lab. I would also be happy to answer any questions you might have about working in my lab.

Graduate study

The Dept. of Biological Chemistry of the University of Michigan Medical School has an outstanding graduate program within the umbrella Program in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS). My lab is an active participant in this PhD program. I encourage prospective graduate students interested in my lab to apply via the PIBS program at U Michigan.
