Morrissey Lab, University of Michigan
Yuqi obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Hong Kong of Science and Technology. She joined the Morrissey lab in 2015 at University of Illinois and moved with us to Michigan. Yuqi’s research is focused on the role of polyphosphate in blood clotting. She is studying how polyphosphate modulates individual reactions of the contact pathway; generating a transgenic mouse model with mutations on an important contact pathway enzyme, and developing biological tools for polyphosphate probing and inhibition using directed evolution and high-throughput sequencing.
